Lünen city center

Lünen belongs to the district of Unna and is the largest city in the western part of Westphalia. Both industrial and rural parts characterize the city. Lünen borders north on Dortmund, west on the city of Waltrop, and east on Kamen and Bergkamen.

The city center is one of the three large district centers, which in turn are divided into smaller areas. In terms of traffic, the A2, B54, B61 and other federal highways offer a wide network of connections within and outside of the city.

Lünen also underlines its cultural heritage through numerous historical buildings, museums and theaters.
